Hi! I'm Kasya and translation is my life's work. I have been doing it since 2006, first as a hobby and then professionally after graduating from Charles University in Prague. I was born in Russia. Currently based in Czechia. Since I was a teenager I have mediated between two cultures and it became my job. I have the advantage of being bilingual (Czech&Russian). I work as translator since 2008. My daily capacity is approx 2,000 - 3,000 words for translation, resp. 5,000 words for proofreading. It depends on the text. During my translation career I have worked with user manuals, technical documents, financial statements, computer games, marketing materials like PR, HR documens, leaflets, surveys, web pages, sport interviews, personal letters, books, travel guides etc... I do not translate natural sciences like physics, chemistry and law.

English is my second language but half of my family is German. Since I do not speak fluent German, we communicate in English since my childhood. I am very confident in speaking, writing and reading. I consider myself bilingual.
