I'm an independent freelancer book translator(English to Korean) and former book editor. I translated more than 25 non-fiction books. I specialize in wine and food. I translated The World Atlas of Wine(6th) by Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson, which is very renowned wine reference book, into Korean. I am pretty sure that I am the very best Korean translator on wine. Travel and culture is my another speciality. However, of course, I'm good at almost all general subjects. I've also worked for many commercial translation assignments. More than 15 years of work experience.
I've been working in translation industry since 2016 and since then I've met a lot of different kinds of clients who wanted to have naturally translated documents for their business or study. South Koreans are highly educated people, keen to read properly translated results in situations where they have to read translated documents, websites, manuals, and etc. However, many of foriegn companies who want to enter Korean market don't pay much attention for the translation work and neglect the importance of proper translation in Korean. Poorly translated documents may give wrong first impression on your products to Korean customers so I can confirmly say that it's important to translate any of your documents properly into Korean. As a highly educated native Korean, I'm able to translate your docuement into Korean more natural than anyone. Please contact me when you're interested in my service. Thanks for your time.

Skilled translators should not only be able to substitute each word into designated languages but also be able to deliver the inherent meaning of the original text. In often cases cultural and social factors of the designated languages become disregarded in the process of translation, and the result ends up being incomplete and even misleading.

My first job as a translator was to translate web articles about news from Universitas Indonesia, from Indonesian to English. The article length was about 300-400 words. I used to be able to translate 2-4 articles in a day. During the job, I completed about 220 web articles translation.
To add more language skills, improving my linguistic knowledge, or in short, to be a better translator; in 2018, I have been taking another bachelor's degree in the Korean Language with graduate expectation in 2022. Aiming to be a Korean translator, for now, I am trying to do some practice by doing some self-project translation in various forms--song lyrics, news articles, even simple sentences that are delivered through social media.
Besides translating, I also try to improve my skills in content writing. I once worked as a freelance content writer on Indonesia tourism and its related topics. To keep up with the content writing spirit, I try to write some articles on my blog.
