Silvana Thees is a teacher of English as a Foreign Language with experience of over twenty years. She was a
teacher for the State Education Department, where she taught nearly a thousand students from 2009 to 2012.
After working for several of the best language schools in Brazil, she decided to open her own company –
Salto Consultoria (now Advantage Language Solutions) – and offer tailor-made English courses. As a teacher, she always acts in her students’
best interests, paying attention to what they need as learners instead of sticking to just one way of teaching.
In addition to giving classes face to face, she also offers classes online via Zoom. Her objective as a teacher is to help the student enjoy learning a second language. Silvana is also interested in translation studies, which was her object of study in her Certificate in Language Interpretation and Translation.
Personally, besides learning languages, Silvana enjoys reading, watching movies and singing

I've got a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a MBA in Market Intelligence, and have had the opportunity of living and working in multiple countries (Canada, US, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Brazil).
