I am a research doctor in Slavic studies and Ural-Altaic philology. Member of AIS (Italian Slavists Association). Native languages: Italian and Russian. I've been working as a freelance translator since 2004, therefore I can deem myself quite skilled in such a field. Being a highly responsible and qualified linguist, I firmly believe that any translated text has to flow and fit the culture of the language as well as the target audience it is written and translated for. Despite the initial humanistic background, over the years of my activity as a freelancer I have developed a profound competence in other fields (finance, technology, e-commerce, medicine, legal and bureaucratic sector).

I'm an Italian TRANSLATOR, PROOFREADER, author and teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature. I translate from ENGLISH and FRENCH to ITALIAN, my native language, I have worked in the publishing field as an author and coauthor, writing and editing books, dictionaries and readers for students of English (for more than 12 years), and created crosswords and puzzles in English for a magazine published monthly (for about five years).
