Greetings future potential client,
I am a trilingual professional translator on the look-out for reliable, professional long-term clients on various platforms.
I specialize in the translation of legal/contractual documents in Norwegian, English, and French.
Of course, my linguistic skills apply for other areas as I have experience translating everything from medical and technical manuals to business articles and even e-sports.
I guarantee an error-free, manual translation, localized if needed be, while always respecting given deadlines.
My cosmopolitan background and analytical interests in other cultures, together with a command of several European languages, have also left me confident in handling localized content that require the reconciliation of different national approaches to otherwise common problems.
If you need an English/Norwegian translation, I'm your guy. :)
I started a sole proprietorship in 2017, mainly for better management of freelance tasks, and this in turn led to me doing many more translations than before, and Smartcat is a great page for it.
I have been working as a drum teacher, teaching drums to kids, since the beginning of my working career, so teaching is my main field of expertise. But, I also love languages, and consider myself an excellent freelance Norwegian translator.
I have 8 years of experience as a Dental Technician, 7 years of experience as a Freelance Translator (English to scandinavian languages vice versa), and years of experience as a Bilingual Customer Service Support, Live Chat Operator (Norwegian, Danish and Swedish), Norwegian VA, Danish VA, Recruiter, and Customer Service Manager.
I am a Norwegian speaker. Through 7 years working as a freelancing writer and translator, I have completed thousands of translation projects which have honed my Norwegian writing & translating skills (English to Norwegian and vice versa). My strengths are enthusiasm and responsibility and I always try my best to satisfy my clients and aim to provide the best quality service for every client.
I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. Localization/CAT tools: starting from routine tasks such as bilingual files prep and post-processing and ending with deployment of custom-tailored translation memory servers using SVN or GIT technologies. Briefly, I love everything related to languages.

I use Trados Studio 2019 as a CAT Tool and I am also available for the moment for any urgent assignment under the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Please contact me any time.
I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.
I have lived in Norway, Austria and Slovakia for several years, worked on freelance basis as a teacher or translator. In my current work as public policy manager I often do translations related to law, politics and various sectors of economy, paying close attention to the detail and meaning.
I have been working with clients all over the world for over 10 years as a technical freelance translator in the language combinations Eng-Nor and Nor-Eng. I am 100% bilingual, meaning I have native proficiency in both these languages, and I am very able to translate in both directions.
I have 20 years of experience as a tour leader, interpreter and translator for German and French-speaking tourists, presenting and marketing Scandinavia as a tourist destination, as a receptionist in hotels, as a customer consultant for an international tour operator and as a translator of technical texts, user manuals and commercial catalogs from English, German, French and Danish to Norwegian, using CAT-tools. I also have experience with website administration and web shops from many years of work with sales and marketing.
My mother tongue is Norwegian, I am fluent in English, German, French and Lithuanian.
My family, friends and colleagues know me as friendly, positive and active, but also as a person who enjoys working independently and purposefully. I have very good communication skills, I love challenges, and I am reliable.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you need translation, editing or proofreading in any of the languages mentioned above.
Sincerely Andreas Coldevin

Hi! My name is Serine, I am a native Norwegian speaker and I work as a Norwegian teacher. I work at a language school in Oslo, where I teach written and spoken Norwegian to people of all ages and all the way from beginner level (A1) and to the more advanced levels thats required in the professional sector.
I have quite a bit of experience writing and translating Norwegian and English texts, although now I'm looking to broaden the scope of my work in this field. As a native Norwegian speaker who has always been interested in literature, one of my core strengths has been writing. After finishing high school, I studied in Dublin, Ireland at University College Dublin for two years. This helped me fine-tune my English skills, both written and orally. Between living in both Ireland and Norway I have done a lot of translating for family and friends, and more recently others who I have been recommended to, mainly English speakers living and working in Oslo/Norway.
