I am writing to apply for the translation job you have offered. I am a qualified translator with both B.Sc. and M.Sc. in translation. Persian/English are my native languages and I also translate from German. I can translate about 3k words per day. I have 9 years of experience as a translator and proofreader and I understand technical documents and put them in a target language in an easy-to-understand manner, rather than doing a literal translation. I also have a good hand on MS Office and Adobe suite and CAT tools such as SDL Trados, Memoq and so on. To date I have translated approximately over 1.5 million words and my main interest subjects have been IT and Software, User and Maintenance Manuals, Networking, Finance and Economy, Engineering, Sports and Technical documents.
