I am a freelance Portuguese to English translator/content writer. I specialize in the social sciences and IT/Software development. I am currently based in Ireland, but I have spent many years living in Portugal. I have five years professional experience as a software developer and I remain up to date in the area. I am a languages student from Northern Ireland, studying Spanish and Portuguese. I may not be fully qualified, but I am now looking to fill my time with more translation due to the fact that I had to return home during my Erasmus year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I still am continuing with my classes from my host university (Porto, in Portugal) and am currently studying a translation module so I am familiar with CAT software and the proper protocol for translation.

I am a former U.S. Navy Spanish/Portuguese Linguist with over 17 years experience in Spanish/Portuguese to English translation.
