In June 1994, I moved from the Republic of South Africa to Slovenia. My parents are from Slovenia, but we lived and grew up in South Africa. With over 16 years of experience in various technical fields, I have developed a profession as a developer and technologist.
Along with my profession, I have developed expertise in other fields too; in health + medicine, wellbeing, nutrition and sports. And also in writing, translation and editing.
I merged individual skills to develop expertise; Doctors, specialists and leaders of organizations with whom I have been in collaboration soon noticed my skill using English and my interests, and exploited that. I have translated and edited documents in medicine, along with writing and publishing.
I have also merged my expertise in mechanical engineering and my expertise in writing; reviewing and translation of text, to create manuals and documents for mechanical devices, according to International + EU directives and requirements.
