I never stop studying. I am always trying to reach a better level on my
writing/speaking skills. I am a very passionate person, I put my heart and soul
in everything I do and it is very important for to give it all to do the best
possible job I can do.
Being Latin American Spanish my mother tongue, I have gone English>Spanish translation studies at college and I’ve got a Swedish 2 B certificate (equivalent to level C2 in the European scale).
I’ve been working as a professional translator since 2001 and as a subtitler since 2004. Since 2005 I have worked on the translation of the magazine The Globe, on the rights of the child. Past projects have also included the translation of 300 pages of the novel The Hypnotist from Swedish to Spanish as part of Martin Lleonsi’s team, UN reports on human rights, Amnesty International public statements, medical reports, web pages, user’s manuals and magazines.
I also have vast experience in the translation and timing of films, TV series, documentaries, corporate videos and educational material on programming and medicine. I have performed timing, translation and quality check tasks for a variety of companies involved in broadcast and DVD production, both Argentina-based and international.
